IGMX bullets are constructed from Gilding Metal. Gilding Metal differs from Solid Copper in that it is harder, tougher and does not foul or increase pressure the way solid copper bullets do. GMX bullets are designed to expand to 1.5 times their original diameter and retain 95%+ of their original weight. They penetrate DEEP; routinely penetrating 30 inches or more. GMX bullets work with standard published reloading data by using a ten-degree boattail and double-groove construction. GMX bullets share the same ballistic coefficient as their SST and INTERBOND counterparts, so handloaders can use the three interchangeable and maintain the same exterior ballistics.
